Indian Applicants - Admission Guidelines 2014

Admissions at Jain University are purely based on merit and are subject to availability of seats. Any change in admission guidelines will be notified on the website from time to time.

Candidates seeking admission to first year Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BSc ID) and Dual Degree Integrated Programme at Jain University are advised to follow the calendar of events provided in the table:

CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
5  March 2014 Issue of Application forms
5 working days from
the day of 12th results
Last date for Issue and Submission of Application Forms (including those sent by post / courier)

ADMISSIONS COUNSELLING VENUE:

From the day the forms are made available to the last date for submission, an admission counselling team will operate from 9:30 am to 3.00 pm (lunch break: 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm) to answer all your queries and give general admission / programme guidelines.


HOW TO APPLY?

Option 1 - Download the application form
The application form can be downloaded from www.jainunversity.ac.in and submitted along with a DD of INR 300/- in favour of Jain University payable at Bangalore with the following documents:

  1. Attested copy of 12th mark sheet
  2. Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)

Option 2 - Collect the application form in person
The application form can be collected in person on payment of INR 300/- in cash or a DD of INR 300/- in favour of Jain University payable at Bangalore from Jain University - School of Graduate Studies, # 34, 1st Cross, J C Road, Bangalore - 560 027 between 9:30 am to 3.00 pm.


HOW TO SUBMIT?

Option 1 - In person
The candidates can submit the application form in person within the stipulated date (as per the calendar of events) at the Jain University - School of Graduate Studies , # 34, 1st  Cross, J C Road, Bangalore - 560 027 with the following documents:

  1. Attested copy of 12th mark sheet
  2. Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)

Option 2 - Courier / Post
The candidates can courier / post the duly filled application form within the stipulated date (as per the calendar of events) at the Jain University - School of Graduate Studies , # 34, 1st Cross, J C Road, Bangalore - 560 027 with the following documents:

  1. Attested copy of 12th mark sheet
  2. Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)

An acknowledgement slip will be issued to the candidate as a proof for submission. In the case of downloaded application form, the application number will be intimated to the candidate via phone.
