Cleanup Drive

Under the banner National Entrepreneurship Network’s (NEN) and Wadhwani Foundation, Jain University Radio - Radio Active CR 90.4 MHz and Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College JC Road Campus, student Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Nexus) in association with The Golden Husk and Frazer Town Resident Welfare Association conducted a campaign on “Keep Frazer Town Clean” on 4^th February 2010.

The awareness campaign was flagged of Mr. Pradeep Kumar Reddy- Chair Person Fraser Town Resident Welfare Association. E- Cell students and Mr. Pradeep Reddy went door to door explaining the importance of segregating garbage, keeping the streets clean. In addition over 1000 dustbins were distributed .

Radio Active CR 90.4 MHz hosted the entire program live on the frequency 90.4 MHz. Many residents while applauding the campaign said that this effort must be sustained and necessary infrastructure needs to be put in place.

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Reddy said that his dream was to make Frazer Town a model ward by August 2010.

Prasant Jalan, student final year BCom said that “As future leaders, it is important for the youth to be conscious and have basic civic sense and create a movement towards Cleaner Bangalore”.
