An NGO working for the welfare of homeless animals in association with Jain Group of Institution’s Community Radio - Radio Active 90.4 MHz , organized a Walk/ Rally on Encouraging adoption of homeless puppies to better stray dog management in Bangalore”, on 16 th August 2009.

The Green March was jointly flagged -off by Ms. Achala Pani, Founder Trustee Lets Live Together Dr. B.C.Ramakrishna, President, KARUNA; noted animal Advocate Ms Brindha Nandakuma , Mr. R Chenraj Jain, Chairman JGI & Chancellor Jain University, and Ms. Pinky Chandran- Manager, Radio Active- JGI in Cubbon Park. Over 100 animal lovers from Jain University and Lets Live Together marched to Minsk Square through Cubbon Park and returned to Queen Victoria statue.

Over 15 pups found new homes, when volunteers adopted them. Pedigree offered nutritional food supplement to the adopters of the pups.
