Jain University in collaboration with USIEF and Fulbright Alumni Association, Bangalore chapter conducted a seminar on 17th November 2009, Tuesday at J C Road Campus to create awareness about Nehru Fulbright Fellowships to the scholars of Jain University. Programme was a part of International Educational Week.

Dr. R L Kashyap - Professor Emeritus, Purdue University, spoke on University education in USA. In the speech he highlighted the quality of higher education in USA with reference to elite Universities like Stanford, Kolex, Wisconsin, and Purdue etc. He called upon the teaching fraternity to undergo the process of self evaluation and develop a healthy research aptitude.

Dr. M K Sridhar – Secretary, Fulbright Alumni Association Bangalore chapter presented informative presentation on Fulbright Fellowships. He believes that the faculties of Jain University have the quality aptitude to apply for Fulbright Fellowships. The programme had the gracious presence of five Fulbright scholars both from India and America.
