Furniture Exhibition

Centre for Design organised a Furniture Exhibition based on the topic HAVE A SEAT, PLEASE! The furniture exhibition exhibited individual idea of students & their creativity to design a multipurpose seating. The exhibition was organized to improvise the design skills and familiarize the process of making furniture, the role of structure, environment and anthropometrics.

The client details, location and usage of the furniture were to be determined by the students and the furniture was made of actual materials in full scale. The submitted furniture was supported by drawings of the furniture made on A3 landscape Sheets.

Students got a wide exposure about today’s market value in regard to the 4M, s i.e., Man, Material, Money and Method and explored their talents using the concept of seat.

Journalists from Deccan Herald news paper visited the event and provided a detail report on the exhibition in their news paper the following day
