Samanvaya 2011

Samanvaya is a national level Business Fest by Jain University – School of Graduate Studies, has set trends & yardstick throughout the years & has been at the forefront of conducting innovative events & attracting the best participants from all over India. This has been a nurturing ground for talent & ideas & the trend continues to grow year by year. This year witnessed a participation of 7 colleges from both commerce and management streams.

Scoring- Transparency

We look forward to bring a change in the scoring system. We’d like to have a live score board, where in the score will be updated after every round till the end of the first day. This helps the participants to know where they stand and how much more effort will they have to put in, in order to cope up. Besides we also look forward to bring in transparency.

Uniqueness of each event
The Consultant

The participants had to go through nine rounds in the space of 2 days
The participants were also provided with comprehensive prelim reports and overnight reports testing their technical skills and stress levels
The teams were awarded points for being original and creative

Disseminate Weapons of Mass Creation 

The participants had to go through six rounds in the space of 2 days
The participants were provided with innovative topics as their prelim reports
They had to come out with ways of marketing for products which  are considered social taboo
At the end of which the participants who pitched in their ideas and communicated it well took home the trophy

All the WORLD’S a STAGE

The participants were tested on their communication skills by putting them through rigorous impromptu rounds
The participants were put in immediate crisis situations to test their ways of handing it
The participants were also tested on their subject content and how well they knew their organization or the situation
They were also expected to face a barrage of media questions in each round

Corporatocracy 

The rounds were based on the current trends of the business world
The participants were tested on their knowledge of disinvestment, restructuring, mergers etc
Economics involving both micro and macro was also involved

ECONOMIC Hitman

The participants were tested on all accounts
They were rounds testing the technical and soft skills that a manger is required to possess
The rounds involved combination with that of human resource, marketing, public relations and finance
At the end of which the participants were made to go through a vigorous stress session

The concluding ceremony of Samanvaya 2011 also brought down the curtains on the last national level commerce event in the JC Road campus.
