B.Com (Financial Analysis)

Why take this course?

B.Com (Honors) in Financial Analysis from Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is the first and the only degree course in India to be integrated with the US CMA (Certified Management Accountant) along with a concentration of US CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level 1 curriculum. Candidates would cover the CMA content in Semesters 1, 2 and 3, and would be prepared to appear for two-part CMA exams in Semester 4. Thereafter, CFA Level 1 content would be covered in Semesters 5 and 6. CMA is offered by the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants), US, and is a globally recognized, advanced-level credential appropriate for accountants and financial professionals in business. Achieving the CMA demonstrates your professional expertise in financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics – skills that are in demand by organizations around the world.  IMA has a MoU with ICWAI (now Institute of Cost Accountants of India) whereby IMA and ICWAI mutually recognize US and Indian CMAs. CFA is offered by the CFA Institute, US, and is the most respected and recognized investment management designation in the world. The CFA program provides a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills leading to a significant career advantage.
