The Academic Block consists of an adequate number of well-equipped classrooms, tutorial rooms, a library, computer labs, seminar hall, faculty rooms, recreational space, common rooms for boys and girls, as well as the offices of the Heads of Departments. Legal Aid Clinic and the Moot Court Hall are the exclusive facilities that the Faculty of Law provides to its students to benefit the learning experience. The Academic Block is completely air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. The building also has the distinguished facility for the physically-challenged students.
The Library, named as Learning Resource Centre (LRC) has a floor area of 4,766 sq. ft spread across 3 Floors. The LRC is equipped with sufficient bookshelves and storage racks. It has got ample comfortable seating space. Journals, both national and international with back volumes, textbooks and reference books are available at the LRS. There is also a Digital Section with 10 computers for accessing online resources. Further, the entire Library is Wi-Fi enabled. The indexing, accessioning issue and return is completely automated using KOHA software. The LRC is available for use from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on all working days.
Among the renowned online resources subscribed by the LRC are SCC Online, Hein Online, Emerald and ProQuest. There are further plans to add several more to the aforementioned list.
The LRC has Institutional Membership with some of the reputed institutions in Bangalore, viz-a-viz. National Law University, Indian Institute of Science, Indian Institute of Management, British Library and American Library, Chennai.
The center encourages instructors to consider ways to incorporate the use of technology throughout the curriculum. Classrooms at School of Law and Governance use the 'technology in teaching' concept with multimedia equipment, LCD projectors and screens.
The computer lab is equipped with computer terminals which will cater to an entire student community.
The Faculty of Law has a seminar hall which is well-furnished and also has the proper facility for an appropriate public address system.
The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled and once students receive their roll numbers, they will be provided with credentials to access the Wi-Fi facility and the School of Law network.
