A man of vision and integrity with an experience of over 25 eventful years, Dr. Chenraj Roychand laid the foundation of JGI. His presence instills awe and admiration among his students. Dr. Chenraj Roychand’s extensive inter-personal, communication and management skills are a product of his years of business experience. His oratory skills and charismatic personality have made him a much sought-after counselor and adviser. He continues to be the guiding light for his students who seek his assistance in everything ranging from education to business ventures.

He incessantly works towards the welfare of society. One of his unique initiatives, Jain Vidyaniketan is an opportunity school located in Kanakapura which provides education from UKG to the 10th Standard. It is affiliated with Karnataka State Education Board (KSEB). He has also organized a number of programs for the rural areas of Kanakapura Taluk, Bangalore District (Rural), such as the weekly Cataract Free Kanakapura Project - eye camps, eye testing and cataract operations, performed free of cost. Among his other benevolent initiatives for the betterment of the world are blood donation camps, health checkups, medical facilities and preventive care awareness in addition to the free distribution of clothes to a large number of school children.

Today, under the supervision of Dr. Chenraj Roychand, JGI Group stands with 85 institutions, 45,000 students, and around 4,500 people toiling to work for his vision.

Prof Rajan Varghese

Prof. Rajan Varghese is an eminent scholar and academician in Law. He brings to the University more than four decades of his combined experience in the professional, administrative and academic fields. Prof. Varghese holds a Ph.D. in Law and LL.M. from Cochin University, & a B.Sc. and LL.B. from Kerala University.

Dr. Varghese has made substantial contributions to the areas of Labor Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and International Humanitarian Law. Apart from these, he is an expert in the Law of Civil Procedure, Property Law, Law of Actionable Wrongs, Research Methodology and Administrative Law. So far, he has published over 19 research papers in refereed journals, and has also published books titled ‘Transfer of Property’ and ‘Child Labor – An Overview’.

He has imparted intensive training in Labor and Industrial Laws and undertaken Socio-legal research projects as Associate Fellow at the V. V. Giri National Labor Institute, Noida, an undertaking of the Ministry of Labor, Government of India.
