Eligibility

The qualification required to apply for the program is a minimum of 50% marks from respective discipline, BBA, BCom. Students who are pursuing final year with Mathematics and Statistics background in bachelor’s program are also eligible to apply for MA Economics

Overview

The Master of Arts in Economics programme at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) offers unique postgraduate and graduate programmes designed as terminal courses. The programme is integrated with the International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC). The programme offers civil services coaching from the National Academy of IAS (IAS Coaching will be provided at an extra cost). The Master's degree in Economics focuses on acquiring problem-solving and critical thinking skills with professional acumen. The students are exposed to the latest developments in the principles of economic theory, applications of theories in analysing current economic problems, tools of econometrics for applied economic research, enhanced reading, creative writing and reasoning skills to discuss elite models for decision-making in policy.
