Diganth Manchale – Indian Film Actor

A budding film star of Kannada cinema, Diganth Manchale, popularly known as Diganth, is best known for his character ‘Doodh Peda’ in movie Gaalipata (2008). Beginning his career in the entertainment industry as a model, Diganth made his acting debut in Miss California in 2006. With exceptional performances in films such as Manasaare (2009), Pancharangi (2010), Lifeu Ishtene (2011) and Parijatha (2012), the chocolate hero has won a million hearts and earned a name as one of the top league actors in Kannada cinema, also referred to as Sandalwood.

The 33-year old Indian film actor got nominated for the Filmfare Awards South (Kannada Film Industry) in the Best Actor category for his film Pancharangi (2010). Predominantly working in the Kannada movie industry, he has also tried his hands at Bollywood with Hindi romantic comedy film Wedding Pullav (2015) which rocketed him to success and earned him the heartthrob status.

Born and brought up in Karnataka, Diganth has completed his graduation in Commerce from Jain University. The Sandalwood actor has gained much popularity and stardom with his impeccable acting skills and is gracefully making inroads into Bollywood with his fourth Bollywood film, Ticket to Bollywood.

The young model turned actor has hogged the limelight in more than 30 films so far and was awarded with South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) for constantly being the Romantic Star of South Indian cinema in 2013. One of his upcoming projects include a drama romance film Happy New Year, featuring him in one of the main roles.
