Vasudha - Women Cell of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organizes a Session on Cervical Cancer Awareness

Vasudha Women Cell of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in association with MYshah Healthcare Bengaluru organized a session on ‘Cervical Cancer Awareness’ on June 30, 2017.
The session began with an introduction to the speakers of the session. The guest speaker Dr. Mohammed Kausar Neyaz, a senior Research Scientist at Artemis Hospital graced the occasion who is proactively engaged in creating awareness about the importance of prevention and disease control through continuous public engagement and health talks.
He stressed upon the lack of awareness about immunization (vaccination) of the life-threatening disease among Indian women and advised the following to ensure the safety of future generation:
- - Change Attitude
- - Create Awareness
- - Practice
He also suggested the audience to ‘Be a Voice to be the Change’. His interesting anecdotes amazed the audience and the talk ended with messages to fight and prevent cancer conclusively. His talk focused on ‘prevention is better than cure’.
Dr. Ashu, the founder of MYshah Healthcare who has been playing a vital role in creating awareness of various life threatening diseases introduced Ms. Dhanalakshmi, a cervical cancer survivor.
Dr.Ashu also recognized and appreciated the students of interior design (BID, Jain (Deemed-to-be University)
) by giving certificates and medals for their contribution in creating awareness along with Dr. Ashu
The ‘Cancer Awareness’ program concluded with Dr.Ashu mentioning her gratitude to the University and a vote of thanks by Ms. Padma Priya, Coordinator, Vasudha Women Cell to the entire team of MYshah Trust.
