Women are bolstering the exciting field of AI and machine learning through their outstanding achievements and noteworthy contributions. To recognize and honor many of such impactful participation by women, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Computer Science and IT is hosting a two-day conference on “Women in Machine Learning – Breaking Barriers”.
The event, to be held on 3rd and 4th April 2020, will provide a platform for eminent personalities, scholars, and academicians to present papers on various topics related to women blazing the trail in the fields of AI and machine learning. There are different programs planned out for the events starting with “Workshop on Machine Learning”, a pre-conference event, on the 3rd of April followed by paper presentation and discussion on the 4th of April.

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Computer Science and IT will be hosting a one-day national conference on “Recent Trends in Innovative and Cognitive Technologies” on 29th February 2020 at Jain Knowledge Campus in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
The objective of the conference is to further foster the development of mimicking the functions of the human brain through various means, including natural language processing, data mining and pattern recognition. It is expected to have a drastic effect on the way that humans interact with technology in coming years, particularly in the fields of automation, machine learning, and information technology and to provide an engaging forum for academicians, experts, researchers, scholars, leaders, students, practitioners, and business professionals.
This conference will provide a stimulating avenue to learn, exchange ideas of human cognitive thought, network and embrace scientific principles behind AI and its applications.

The Department of English at Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Commerce and School of Computer Science and IT heralds the 4th national conference on the topic of “Continuity of Culture and Anxieties of Social Structure” at JGI Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar, Bengaluru on the 29th February 2020.
The conference is organized with the objective of providing a platform for academicians, researchers, and students to present their ideas and discuss how the transmission of culture is facilitated by texts of different media, creating a medium for reception and response, across generations. The conference has called for papers on various explorations on the subject.

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Department of Hindi presents a one-day national level seminar on “Hindi Sahitya Mein Anand Ki Parikalpana” at the institute’s Jayanagar campus on the 29th of February 2020.
The registration for the event will begin at 08:30 AM followed by an inaugural speech by Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The seminar will witness eminent scholars, researchers and academia present their work and contribution to the language.

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Computer Science and IT will be hosting an event in the memory of the legendary and eminent Kannada scholar Dr. Chidananda Murthy on 29th February 2020 at the JGI Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar, Bangalore.
Dr. Chidananda Murthy, a writer, researcher, and historian was a well-known scholar in Karnataka specializing in the history of Kannada language and helped get the language “Classical Language” status in the year 2008. He was also known for his campaign to conserve the Hampi monuments.
The one-day conference will provide a platform for scholars to present their paper in a wide range of topics related to Dr. Chidananda Murthy’s literary works in the fields of folk, Inscription, language, and research.

The conference will provide a platform for teachers and research scholars to hold meaningful discussions, debates on various topics and how Vedas impart valuable insights on leading a life of contentment. From time immemorial, it is seen that stories and fables have been a medium to impart knowledge in the society, to help mankind attain enlightenment that leads to permanent salvation. Many Samskrita writers have contributed towards this through their works like Somadeva’s Kathasaritsagara, Gunadhya’s Bruhatkatha, Kshmendra’s Bruhatkathamanjari, Panchatantra, Hitopadesha, Bouddha Jatakas, to name a few.

This energetic fest which is an ode to the many colors of younghood will be hosting a plethora of interactive events, aimed to bring out the best in each. The day-long festivity will be a melting pot of bright minds and talents from various colleges across the city.

The conference aims to shed a light on the changing role of HR and Marketing in an age that brings advanced technologies like Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence while providing a platform for policymakers, practitioners, academicians, researchers, and students to present their ideas and innovative practices.
This one-day event will also be a platform for fostering the exchange of thoughts between practicing HR managers, marketing managers, and academicians. At the conference, the keynote speaker will be addressing, “Role of AI in HR” followed by a strategic keynote address on ‘‘Redefining HR and Marketing Perspectives”. The National Science Day 2020 will be celebrated with a theme titled “Women in Science”.
UG students from colleges across the city are welcome to visit the School of Sciences – Block 1 campus at Jayanagar in Bangalore between 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM.
The event promises to offer a glimpse into the exciting arena of science and research to the visitors with a brief tour of various labs at the institute and an opportunity to know more about the exciting projects and subjects by the faculty and the students. A brainstorming session with M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars have also been organized.
