Social Action Project is to bring about social change that will benefit an individual, communities or society. This is extremely beneficial to the society for the better future of the upcoming generations. Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is organizing an interactive workshop on the ‘Defining Social Action and Active citizenship on Real-World Issues’. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Samir K Brahmachari, Former Director General of CSIR and Former Secretary, DSIR, Government of India. A social action project prepares students to identify, plan and carry out solutions to problems within their institution, community and beyond. The goal is active citizenship through thoughtful, cooperative, critically engaging, and responsible action.
