2A/5 Coy of 7 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru will be organizing a Bicycle Expedition from Bengaluru to Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai which will be scheduled from 2 - 15 September 2017. The team comprises of 10 cadets and 2 staff members.
The objective of the expedition is to witness the Passing out Parade (POP) of 2 cadets at OTA on 9 September 2017, while en route cadets will motivate the youth to join the Armed Forces.
Col S Nanda Kumar, Commander, Bangalore Group ‘B’, NCC, at School of Commerce Studies will flag off the expedition. Col Virendra Taneja, Commanding Officer 7 Karnataka Battalion NCC, and Dr. B T Venkatesh, Adviser of Examinations, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) will witness the ceremony.
