Being a firm believer in this ideology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) strives to make education available to every child. With our priority of serving the society, this 2017 on Children's Day, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is launching an annual initiative called, 'SEED - Social Education and Empowerment Drive'. SEED focuses on educating and empowering the underprivileged children. The initiative also includes inspiring sessions by experts from various fields to motivate the children to pursue their dreams.
On 18 November 2017, the University is conducting a social empowerment event under the umbrella of SEED where around 150 students from different school including JSS School for Spastic and Specially Abled children, Fame India, School for Spastic kids and DESIRE Society which is an NGO working for HIV/AIDS affected children will be participating in the program.
The aim of the program is to increase student involvement in social and philanthropic activities.
Ms. Priyamani, famous film actress will be the Chief Guest of the program. Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Principal Officers, popular personalities from the corporate world will be taking part in the event.
