As a part of its institutional social responsibility and to continue the tradition of serving the mankind, School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University)(JUSET) in association with Lions Blood Bank, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health and NIMHANS will be organizing 11th Blood Donation Camp – ‘Amhithi’ on 27 September, 2017 in the college premises.
Every year, our nation requires 4 crores units of blood while only 40 lakh units are available. ‘Amhithi’ is a step towards filling this gap by inculcating a culture of donating blood in its students.
JUSET invites its students and staff members to take part in this noble cause and help those in need in case of an emergency and maintain stocks of blood banks.
The Blood Donation Camp is expecting to collect more than 500 units of blood from enthusiastic donors.
