The Department of Biotechnology in School of Sciences is hosting a national level webinar on “Recent Research Advancements in Biological Sciences” on 29th July 2020 at 10:00 AM. The goal of the webinar is to introduce the current progress in comprehending the working of the immune system in combating bacterial and viral infections, in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The session will begin with an inaugural address from Dr. N.V.H. Krishnan, Registrar- Jain (Deemed-to-be University) followed by a discourse from Sri. Appaih C.B. on “An inconvenient truth & the quest for a novel antibacterial drug” and Dr. Veena S. Patil’s insights on “Human CD4+ T cell memory and infectious diseases”.
The webinar is open to students, research scholars, and faculty of Universities and colleges Pan-India.
