School of Humanities and Social Sciences Organizing First Faculty Colloquium Series

About the Event

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is delighted to announce its first Faculty Colloquium Series.

The colloquium is academic meeting, where expert/ faculty member would make a presentation, every fortnight on a topic of their interest including their current or past research work. Also, they can put forth their idea of future research that they are planning to take up.

The objective of this Faculty Colloquium Series is to get to know each other's discipline, ideas, and research domains.

The first presentation of the Faculty Colloquium Series will be on Capacity Building for Transition to Democracy in Myanmar: Explaining Expectations and Experiences, by Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Jain (Deemed-to-be University).

This series will provide an opportunity for the faculty and students to discuss and share their views on the topic. The presentation would last for 30 minutes, continued with 40 minutes question and answer session.

The interested faculty members are invited to attend the series.
