Admission Process

  • Admissions to the law programmes at the School of Law, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) are conducted through a transparent and merit-based selection system designed to identify motivated, capable, and ethically grounded students.
  • Applicants can seek admission through the JAIN Entrance Test (JET) or by presenting valid scores from recognised national-level entrance examinations such as CLAT or AILET. The university also considers government or board-specified cut-offs as applicable for the admission year.
  • All application forms are available online, and interested candidates can complete the registration and submission process through the university's official admissions portal. The JET 2026 cycle will commence on 23rd January 2026.

The admission process comprises two stages:

  • 1. Online Written Test: The written component of JET assesses a candidate's logical reasoning, legal aptitude, general awareness, and language proficiency.   • Candidate with Three Years LLB / Five Years Integrated LLB Degree
  • Holding the Law Degree from any Indian or Foreign University duly recognized by UGC
