M.Tech in Construction Technology

Why take this course?

M.Tech in Construction Technology program targets students who wish to develop and deepen their knowledge in the areas of Building Performance, Sustainable Design and Building Informatics. The program is interdisciplinary and involves thorough knowledge about building performance and its design. Significant social, economic and environmental changes are causing a demand for high performance and sustainable buildings due to advancements in Science and Technology. Such buildings are even more diverse in function and shape as well as more energy efficient and responsive to occupants needs. Those students who are interested in construction courses and building design courses can opt for this program. They can learn how to apply scientific methods and state of the art technologies in order to address the multifaceted challenges posed by high performance and sustainable buildings. At the 2015 United Nations climate change conference, COP 21 at Paris, it was concluded that all the buildings and infrastructure are to be wetted for sustainability and performance with regards to mitigation due to climate change, hence there will be infinite opportunities globally.
