More than 150 members attended. The discussion revolved around federalism and decentralization and the current political transition in Myanmar. The Chairs of the leading Parliamentary Committees attended the interactive sessions.
Later a similar two day interaction session was held with Members of the State Legislature in the state of Mon. A smaller select group of 35 legislators participated in three days of discussions spread across a range of themes. This session was held from 27 to 29 August.
