Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Organized a Career Counseling Program 'Margadarshi'

Jain (Deemed-to-be University)'s Student Counseling and Guidance Center – Vishwas in collaboration with Department of Placement organized a Career Counseling Program 'Margadarshi' on 14 November 2017 in its campus.
Margadarshi indeed gave the participants a new perspective on their career goals. The question “what do we do after graduation?” was very well addressed and the scope of the different branches of engineering was explained. The key spokesperson of the day was Mrs. Jhanavi. M. Kajjer, who is a career counselor. Director of SET Dr. Hariprasad delivered the presidential address and Chief Counselor of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Dr. Uma Warrier spoke about how important career counseling is and how helpful it is to move out of the career confusions.
Mrs. Jhanavi covering all the areas of engineering and technology gave insights about the importance of Master's degree program after B.Tech. The speaker also answered the queries raised by the participants. During the program, Mr. Vishal Arora, Chief Placement Officer of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) addressed the gathering based on the FAQs that have been collected from the different departments of School of Engineering Technology. He also explained the participants about the changes that are happening in different core companies. He advised the group to be more vigilant and requested them to work hard and aspire to reach their goals. Besides the talk, Vishwas and placement cell distributed a booklet with answers to the FAQs raised by the students.
The program was concluded with a vote of thanks to the spokesperson.
