The Anatomy of an Entrepreneur

As part of Inspiring Alumni series, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a session on “Anatomy of an Entrepreneur.” Mr. Ammar Mansoor, CEO of CodeRythm Technology and alumnus of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) (Batch 2013) addressed the BCA students on 7 February 2017 on the given topic. He chose to spoke on “The Anatomy of an Entrepreneur” to motivate the students to start their own venture as he did himself.

The session began with discussions on various traits of an entrepreneur like how one should be able to take the risk, how to be prepared to face failure and so on. He also emphasized on how one should be open minded to accept changes and be in a position to do the right thing at the right time. He explained how an entrepreneur should be passionate and should be practicing their passion around the clock and on all day. An entrepreneur to become successful needs to make his passion as his business. Students were given a brief idea about the best time to start their own business to move ahead.

Mr.Mansoor also cautioned about points to be considered before one starts their own business is choose a right team, plan business carefully with never to give up attitude and also the importance of networking which plays a vital role in setting up business. Before winding up the session he advised students to think about Internet of things, Big Data and Social Entrepreneurship as the possible domains to make their beginning as these are the most sought after technologies in the market.
