Yet another batch of 25 students from ISCTE – IUL, Portugal visited CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) with Prof. Antonio Robalo. They were on a study tour to India. The Bangalore leg of the tour was hosted by CMS Business School during 6-15 June 2016. CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and ISCTE are members of NIBES (Network of International Business and Economic Schools).
The nine days program was under the umbrella “Doing Business in India” and covered topics such as Indian history and culture, religions in India, political system besides issues in the different areas of management and business practices specific to India.
Sessions on art, culture, politics and management was delivered by faculty drawn from CMS Business School and Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The management concepts were further reinforced by field visit to Infosys, Mysore where they interacted with Mr. Sunderasan Iyer, Principal -Education, Training & Assessment.
Cultural immersion included visits to Hampi, Mysore Palace and ChitraKala Parishath. Students were awed by the architecture of the monuments. A three hour yoga session was also organized as part of the cultural immersion and learning.
