Synopsis: Dr. Praveen B.M. opened the floor with his take on “Nanotechnology and Applications” and focused on how it is helping to revolutionize many industries and sectors around the globe. Prof. P.V. Krupakara spoke on the theme “World of Corrosion Science”, where he described the different forms of metal corrosion and the ways in which this can be determined and controlled.
On the second day of the webinar, Dr. Sohail shed light on “SARS COVID 2: Origin, transmission and therapeutic options” where he extensively spoke about the current situation and the emergence of new drugs and vaccines to counter the pandemic. Dr. Mohd Anas Shamsi hosted the final leg of the webinar with the topic “Identification of natural products as MARK 4 inhibitors – Implication in anti-cancer therapeutics”, where he discussed the importance of herbal / natural compounds that have been identified as therapeutic agents for treating cancer.
The two-day webinar program witnessed large participation from several countries.
