As a part of 'Inspiring Alumni' series, School of Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a guest lecture on 'Tips for Sustained Growth & Success' which was delivered by Ms. Deepthi Ram. More than 40 students were present during the session.
Dr. Kumudini Satyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and Dr. Varalakshmi K N, Director, School of Sciences welcomed Ms. Deepthi Ram as the Chief Guest of the session.
While addressing the students, the speaker spoke about 'success' and stated that good or great marks do not define success however it is subjective to one's own view. She further emphasized the definition of success in the views of modern world leaders such as Barack Obama, Sundar Pichai etc. Summarizing the views of all the world leaders, she stated that, they lay emphases on “values” as the key to success. Ethics and moral values play an important role in achieving success be it in an academic or a corporate set-up, she added.
The informative session concluded with a token of appreciation to Ms. Deepthi Ram by Dr. Varalakshmi K N.
