A session on telecom providers in India was conducted at the School of Graduate Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

Capt. Santhosh Kumar from Security and Vigilance Department of Toyota Kirloskar Motor addressed the students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Forensic Science, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) on 23 July 2016. He spoke about what a telecom provider is, and how we are anyway concerned about them. He addressed the reality of internet as a bomb waiting to explode, which impacts national security. All telecom service providers are duty bound to give traceable identity of their subscribers to the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA). In forensic investigation, a data investigator collector plays a very important role as he must keep the data with utmost confidentiality, integrity and availability. The laws and the department of telecom architecture are all seen in a new light where national security is concerned.

He highlighted on the various agencies which hire forensic students such as CBI, IB, RAW, NIA, DRI and many more. The students were awestruck by his knowledge on the importance of telecom providers and how the enforceability of law brings suck a huge impact on every individual's life.
