Afghanistan delegates visit Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) has been welcoming to students across borders. Without any differentiation between the national and international students, University’s teachings, principles, offerings and most importantly hospitality have all remained the same. 

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) hosted esteemed delegates from Ministry of Higher Education, I.R, Afghanistan on 22 December 2018. The delegation included Mr. Bahram Emami- Head of Cultural Wing, Office of the President of I.R of Afghanistan; Mr. Sayed Alem Rahmati- Director of Foreign Affairs and Scholarships, Ministry of Higher Education; Mr. T.Nayab- Finance Executive, Ministry of Higher Education; Mr. Sahar- Education Attache, Embassy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. 

Honorable Chairman of JGI, Dr. Chenraj Roychand extended a warm welcome to the delegates and had a very fruitful discussion with the Delegates pertaining to exploring broader education opportunities between India and Afghanistan. 

The delegation facilitated an open house interaction session with students from Afghanistan pursuing their education at Bangalore. This provided a platform for the dignitaries to discuss, understand and solve the various issues and difficulties the Afghan students faced in terms of their stay and education here. It also gave the officials an idea about which university to choose for collaborations in the future in terms of scholarships. 

Dr. Chenraj Roychand emphasized the need for Afghan Students to exert efforts to make their country a developed country. The Afghan students expressed their gratitude to the delegation and management of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) for making this event.
