Annual Alumni Meet 2019

School of Commerce, Alumni Association of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized its Annual Alumni Meet on 9 March 2019. The planned objective was to install the office bearers for the year 2019-20, interact with the alumni and publicizing future events. Over 150 alumni members and over 50 staff attended the event and made the event a success.

Dr. N. Sundararajan, Hon. Vice Chancellor, Dr. N.V.H. Krishnan, Registrar and Dr. Easwaran Iyer, Dean Commerce addressed the event. Dr. Dinesh Nilkant, Director, CMS Business School, Dr. B.T. Venkatesh, Advisor Examinations, Dr. B. A. Vasu, Director, School of Commerce and Prof. Naveen, Principal, Jain College (Vasavi Campus) were also present.

Several performances by the current students and alumni were conducted for all the alumni and their kids. Some of the faculty and staff members were present and shared their kind words about their memory and experiences with the students. Alumni Association honored Vice Chancellor Dr. N. Sundararajan’s 50+ years of service in the field of Education. It was a memorable event for everyone present. The event was stimulating and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views ideate and good numbers of new ideas, information and insights came up.

The yearbook of the School of Commerce Alumni Association was launched which contains the details of the events conducted in the previous year, list of office bearers, upcoming events and many more of such information.
