CMS Business School conducts Leader Program 2016

Leader Program is a global high impact development program initiated 25 years ago by Ivey Business School, Ontario, Canada. CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in association with Ivey Business School organized LEADER 2016, a Business Incubation and Entrepreneurship workshop for all budding and potential entrepreneurs from 11 to 22 April 2016.

In a first, students from universities across India also participated in this program. Pedagogy included lectures, case studies, business plan workshops and one on one coaching sessions. The case studies provided insight into the problems faced by entrepreneurs, be it financial, operational, and marketing and management of people and resources.

There were around 40 students participated in the workshop. The course ended with the students making 30 seconds elevator pitch, for which they were judged. The LEADER program equipped the students with analytical tools, thought-process and decision making skills to tackle complex challenges required for launching a new venture.
