Vishwas – the Student Counseling and Guidance Center of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized ‘Counseling Orientation Program’ for the first year B.Tech students of JU-SET in the college premises on 23 March 2018. The spokesperson of the day was Dr. Uma Warrier, Chief Counselor at Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
Addressing the students, the speaker explained the group, the vision and mission of Vishwas Counseling Center. The spokesperson also shared a video with the group which indeed created a clear vision about Vishwas and its activities throughout the years at Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
Further, she explained about what is not counseling and counseling procedure followed by Vishwas during the program. The areas of support by Vishwas, psycho educative sessions, group therapy etc. was explained to the group. Dr. Uma Warrier also explained the group, the importance of having a healthy personality and holistic well-being of oneself.
The program witnessed active participation from students of JU-SET which was concluded with vote of thanks to the speaker.
