On the occasion of 'World Mental health Day' which is celebrated on 10 October every year, Jain (Deemed-to-be University)'s Department of Psychology, organized awareness programs at four destinations.
The day began at Lalbagh West gate, where the students performed a Kannada street play which highlighted the importance of taking care of mental health. The play was performed at Town Hall as well receiving an excellent response from the public.
The department also organized a flash mob and an English street play busting the myths of psychology and counseling. They also performed at CMS B-School Campus, J. P Nagar and at the Forum Mall, Koramangala. There was an excellent turn out at both the places making the mission to spread awareness of mental health successful.
