Dr. Manjunatha, HoD, Department of Kannada, School of Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) participated in the 83rd Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (All India Kannada Literature Conference) held from 24 – 26 November 2017 at Mysore which was presided by Dr. Chandrashekar Patil who is popularly known as Champa. During the conference, he presented his poetry titled 'Bali'.

The literature conference is held every year with the objective to preserve the rich literary and cultural heritage of Karnataka. During the conference Dr. Manjunatha and other eminent writers, scholars are invited and honored for their contribution towards Kannada literature.
