The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JU-SET organized Guest Lecture on IT Infrastructure Services on 24 February 2018 for fourth and sixth semester students of CSE and ISE. The speaker of the day was Mr. Satish, Founder CEO, ASQ.
The session began with an activity in which speaker asked students to list out all the job roles that CSE/ISE students can apply for. He made a team of students who selected each of those roles. He listed out the number of members opted specific job roles. Through this student understood which job many people opt for and where is less competition. This was helpful for students to understand which job role is in demand and can guarantee the employment.
During his talk, speaker suggested to students to focus on the different skill set that they have to master to get into a particular job role. IT Infrastructure service being a demanding field in the industry, speaker educated students about how they can make their career by learning DevOps.
Further, in his session emphasizing the importance of ITIL certification, the speaker explained the IT Infrastructure Management Tools for the services such as Cloud Infrastructure Services, Enterprise Service Management, Data Centre Services, End User Services and Network Management Services.
The informative session concluded with students' feedback and vote of thanks to the speaker.
