Department of Interior Design, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a guest lecture on 'Perception towards life' by Major Raghavendra G for the cadets of 1 Coy 9 Kar Bn NCC and interior design students at School of Graduate Studies on 11 January 2017.
Major Raghavendra motivated the students to pursue their dream by giving his life examples. He also spoke about the patriotism one should have as a civilian and urged the audience to join Indian army. When students asked him about the quality of the arms provided to the defence force, Major quickly replied saying, ‘I don't know if we have top quality guns but we definitely have top quality men’ which left the students wonderstruck. He also spoke about the wondrous things he did in Bandipur, where he raised voiced for gender equality in places where women were not allowed to step out of the house without a naqab.
