JU-SET in association with Autobot India organized a national level workshop - Industrial Certification Program on Electric Vehicle Design and Development from 16 - 30 January on the university campus.
A 15-day program had theoretical sessions, hands-on as well as simulation sessions for the participants by the industry experts in the field of the electric vehicle design. The program was found to be very fruitful by the participants as it covered the basic of designing a car to the advanced methods needed to make the vehicle to work practically.
The program was followed by a ride in the electric auto rickshaw invented by Mr. Umesh Chandra for the participants and the members of the Jain (Deemed-to-be University). An industrial visit was also organized for the 20 participants to Voltas India, Yelachenahalli, Bengaluru.
The program witnessed active participation of Scientists, Engineers, Researchers, Students, and Leaders from the fields of Electric Vehicle Design and Manufacturing.
The informative sessions were concluded with certificate distribution, feedback session and vote of thanks by Prof. N Karthik, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
