Infinity is an annual fest and an exceptional junction where various beautiful cultures are presented with technological innovations. The atmosphere of the festival was filled with all energy and excitement. This year’s theme of Infinity was “Make in India”.
There were about more than 25 events that were organized this year with some of the most special events like Hog-a-thon, what’s your story, Treasure Hunt, Master Chef, Music (Singing), Dance, Beat Boxing, Fashion Show, Battle of Bands, Circuithon, Painting and many more. The fest focused on bringing out those hidden talents within the students of various organizations and nurturing them. Approximately 40 colleges (Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, AMCE, PESIT, etc.) participated in the event from across Bengaluru with an approximate count of 4000-5000 students. Some of the creative events with regards to technology were Techno Hunt, Robo Race, Gaming and Circuithon.
The Chief Guest of the event was H. Manjunath Babu, Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Special Branch, Bengaluru City. He joined Police department in the year, 1996, as Police Sub-Inspector and had basic training at Karnataka Police Academy, Mysore. Then, served as Police Sub Inspector at Karwar and Chikmagaluru District and as Circle Inspector in Mandya, Tumkur and Bengaluru City.
