International Cultural Exchange Program Held at Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

As a part of International Youth Exchange Program, a team of 22 members of Uzbekistan visited the School of Sciences. The objective of this program was to exchange ideas, values, and culture amongst the youth of parenting countries.

The guests were welcomed traditionally with garlands and kumkum which was followed by cultural events. During the event students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) performed various traditional dance forms of India such as Kuchipudi (performed by Ms. Renita), Yakshagana (performed by Ms.Abhinaya and Ms. Vandhana), Classical and Folk music (performed by Ms. Sadwini, Ms.Varshini, Ms.Aparna and others) and Kathak (by Ms. Namitha and Mr.Sreeraj). The event also comprised of showcasing Indian music and performance by the students of Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar.

The students of the literary forum interacted with the delegates. The students of Uzbekistan also showcased their cultural dance form with our students.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students of both the nation to understand each other’s culture, tradition, and heritage which enabled them to enrich their knowledge about both the countries.
