Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Collaborates with Nepal Administrative Staff College, Kathmandu

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is delighted to announce that it has collaborated with Nepal Administrative Staff College, Kathmandu for Nepal National Governance Survey 2017-18.

Governance Facility, Nepal and Nepal Administrative Staff College, Kathmandu have come together for a National Survey of Governance in the country to take stock of the governance status in Nepal through a nationally representative survey in order to be able to create evidence for setting the foundations right for good governance in the context of ongoing political transformation in the country.

Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Education (CERSSE) Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru has been invited in a consultancy capacity to be associated with the survey in Nepal and will be part of the consultation team through Governance Facility, Kathmandu. Dr. Reetika Syal of CERSSE is currently managing the project.

The first workshop was conducted on formulating a questionnaire for the survey which was held from 27 to 29 August 2017. Dr. Reetika Syal was invited as an expert for the workshop. The second workshop for finalizing the questionnaire and field plan is to be held from 13 to 14 September 2017 in Kathmandu. Dr. Reetika Syal will be attending the workshop as a consultant.
