Jain (Deemed-to-be University) conducts a session on 'SMAC' in digital world
Faculty of Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a lecture session on 'SMAC' in digital world (SMAC – SOCIAL, MOBILE, ANALYTICS, CLOUD) as a part of Words of Wisdom series by Mr. Saurav Kumar, a Senior Manager at Cognizant.
SMAC is a concept that is built on the symbiotic combination of the four ends of technology - Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud. It builds a network that allows businesses to boost their operations and maximize their reach to the customers with minimal overhead.
Mr.Saurav Kumar interacted with the BCA students on 'SMAC' and explained how these technologies are user friendly and have impacted the society by reducing the cost of infrastructure. He also emphasized that, SMAC is a boon to mid and small scale IT companies which can run business at very minimum cost as they need not to invest on infrastructure. He mentioned in his session that, "SMAC is an ideal package for every aspiring students who wants to make their career in the social media, mobile technology, analytics and cloud computing field."
