Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Congratulates Mr. Michael Chhandama, Ph.D Scholar

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is delighted to share that Mr. Michael Chhandama, Ph.D Scholar has been awarded the second prize in Poster competition at 5th Annual South Asia Biosafety Conference which was held during 11-13 September 2017. He has received two-year membership for the International Society for Biosafety Research and USD $200 cash prize along with an award certificate. His presentation was on ‘Estimation of Lipid content from Stress Induced Microalgae for Biodiesel Production’.

He was guided by Dr. Kumudini Belur Satyan, Dept. of Biotechnology, School of Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The conference was jointly organized by ILSI Research Foundation and Biotech Consortium India Ltd. in association with Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Govt. of India) and other regional partners.
