Jain (Deemed-to-be University) has always been at the forefront of education whether it is the IT or the non-IT sector. The University’s commitment to the students and the society does not end at being merely an education provider; it has an inexhaustible drive to create job opportunities for students and job aspirants through Connect to Careers initiative.
In line with this objective, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) had organized the fourth job fair for the benefit of students from Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) to connect prospective employees with their employers.
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology, Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) was chosen to host the event for the benefit of students of that region on 4 March 2017.
About 2500 students from towns surrounding Anantapur participated in the job fair. 21 reputed companies including Infosys, L&T, HCL, and GTT for Capgemini participated in the job fair to hire candidates for various profiles.
As part of the selection process students underwent written test and personal interviews and 347 students were shortlisted for final rounds. Spot offers were made to 109 candidates. It is expected that about 200 offers may be rolled out finally. Parents and students were very thankful to Jain (Deemed-to-be University) for organizing such an event for the benefit of young graduates.
Students from following colleges were officially invited along with other walk-in candidates.
