Jain (Deemed-to-be University) has always been one step ahead in the career exploration and has taken initiative towards providing the best choices of employment for its students and society.
In line with this objective, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) had organized the third job fair for the benefit of students on 25 February 2017 at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, to connect prospective employees with their employers.
Narayana Engineering College, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, was chosen to host the event for the benefit of students of that region.
About 1500 students from towns surrounding, Nellore participated in the job fair. 19 reputed companies including Infosys, L&T, HCL and Capgemini participated in the job fair to hire candidates for various profiles.
As part of the selection process students underwent written test and personal interviews and 228 students were shortlisted for final rounds. Spot offers were made to 50 candidates. It is expected that about 700 offers may be rolled out.
