Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized symposium to commemorate National Science Day

Department of Biotechnology - Center for Postgraduate Studies, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) in consortium with The Indian Science Congress Association, Bangalore Chapter organized a symposium to commemorate National Science Day.

The program was started with Invocation and lighting of the lamp. Dr. Mala Majumdar, Coordinator, Dept. of Biotechnology, CPGS, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), gave the welcome speech.

The chief guest Prof. Gangadhar, General Secretary (Membership affairs, ISCA) inaugurated the program. Dr. Varalakshmi KN Director, CPGS, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) addressed the students. Dr. Ramakrishna S Convener, ISCA, Bangalore chapter, gave the vote of thanks.

The symposium also included invited lectures by Prof. Kumar Somasundaram, Microbiology & Cell Biology, IISc, Bangalore, Prof. Vasudeva Rao, Co-Founder, GRSV Consulting Services, Bangalore.
