Jain (Deemed-to-be University)’s School of Engineering and Technology organized Alumni meet on 28 April 2018.

The main objective of the alumni meet was to

Escalate the alumni connectivity for building effective curriculum structure
To enhance the use of platform Alma Connect for entrepreneurial opportunities
To create platform for alumnus to share their taught about gap between industry and education sectors
Enhance the enthusiasm of the Alumni Association

Dr. S. A. Hariprasad, Director, SET – JU praised the achievements of Alumni. He felt that it was matter of great pride for institute that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various Government organizations, Academic Institutions and some of them are successful entrepreneurs. Dr. Rajasimha Makram, Associate Director and Prof. M S Sowmya, briefed about Alma Connect initiative by Jain (Deemed-to-be University). They explained about the Alma Connect website and its benefits. The Inaugural session was followed by cultural programs by current students.
