As a part of Words of Wisdom series, JU-SET's Student Career Advisory Placement Support (SCAPS) team conducted a session on 'Computational Fluid Dynamics' for seventh-semester B.Tech Mechanical and Aerospace students on 15 November 2017. The guest speaker of the day was Dr. Nikhil Vijay Shende who is a Director at S & I Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Nikhil while addressing the students explained the concepts of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), its components, its importance and applications to students. Further, the speaker highlighted the need for CFD and the prerequisites to learn CFD. He also mentioned the career opportunities available in the field of CFD.
During the session, students were encouraged to participate in competitions in which students developed own code to execute the given problem which will be tested on a common platform among the international teams.
