The Centre for Exchange, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a guest lecture on Words of Wisdom- A talk on Industry Related Skills in Humanities and Social Sciences on December 5, 2020.
The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Aravind Warrior, Head-HR, RapidValue Solutions. The session was to learn about the 3Ps- purpose, passion, perseverance, and practicing the 5Cs, character, competence, communication, collaboration, and commitment to create an impactful life.
He spoke about other skills needed to grow in life both personally and professionally like disciple, punctuality, organization, accountability, creativity, research, hard work, to see every problem as an opportunity, with passion. The participants also learned about the significance of having role models and staying true to oneself, facing challenges, building networks, and a focused attitude.
The guest lecture was a great learning experience for the participants and encouraged them to think critically for developing the power for an impactful life.
