Jain (Deemed-to-be University) ’s School of Humanities and Social Science held its first edition of Model United Nations (MUN) on 3 and 4 September 2018. It was an authentic formal stimulation of the United Nations, where 47 students participated, designated with a country each, to represent in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). The agenda for this conference was ‘Women Rights and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Delivering on the promise to "Leave No One Behind." Each delegate who represented their respective countries had to debate about this agenda, keeping their country’s policies in mind.

The delegates discussed their country’s stances on whether they supported the agenda or not, they had moderated as well as unmediated causes in which they formed allies with other countries to support or refute this agenda. They started making resolutions pertaining to the agenda in which they developed various clauses about how they can tackle. Although there were a lot of amendments made to the resolutions, the committee finally voted upon the most feasible resolution. Finally at the closing ceremony awards and certificates were given to the delegates who had performed very well throughout the entire 2-day event.
