Co - founder of Giftxoxo.Com – Mr. Manoj Agarwal, gathered and address the Jain (Deemed-to-be University) students at the inaugural session of CEO of the Month program, initiated by Career Advisory & Placement Services Team (CAPS), Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
Mr. Manoj Agarwal gave an insight to students upon the importance of idea & products for both established Organization and Startups. Youth and exuberance is the hallmark of this energetic man and his main motto is to “Focus on Basics to be successful”.
The discussion took off with the topic ‘Team & Execution’, where he mentioned points like the kind of team required, the process of hiring of team (hiring smarter people than the existing , Hiring only when there is a need) and the importance on spending wisely on - people – product - PR & marketing.
The next topic covered was 'How you Start?’, wherein points like, looking for problems and the relevant solutions, converting problems into opportunities and always be on the look - out for the growing trends and necessary changes to be adopted for the good of the business, were discussed in vast.
Moving on he covered the topic 'Build to Last' wherein he mentioned about the Unit economics & margins, the Real consumer value and Positioning & early revenues.
Lastly the talk was ended with the topic 'Business Fundamentals'. The points like, on creating value & sustainability for all stake holders, Building business for wealth creation & long term opportunities and Focusing on business more than funding, profits, importance of mentors etc., were discussed in depth.
